The Hill of Notre-Dame-du-Haut in Ronchamp is a prominent work for modern architecture. You can discover it freely or thanks to guided “discovery” tours or tours dedicated to a specific theme.

Discover the Hill of Notre-Dame du Haut and walk about the place at your own pace. Numerous display materials in 9 different languages are available for free : visitor’s leaflets*, brochures with explanations*, virtual tours**.

Virtual tour

During this virtual «discovery » and historical tour, fourteen themes will be dealt with: from the history of the hill of Bourlémont before 1944 (when the old chapel was bombed to ruins at the Liberation of Ronchamp) to Le Corbusier’s commission to the architectural design of the Chapel as well the the building of the monastery by Renzo Piano, etc…

The history of the site will have no secret for you thanks to digital technology!

The virtual tour is available on smartphones for free, by connecting to a dedicated wifi network

Tours dedicated to a specific tour punctuate the cultural program throughout the year : theatrical performances, a visit of the shell-roof of the chapel, visit of the two houses by Le Corbusier in Ronchamp : the pilgrim’s house and the chaplain’s house, the visit of the Sainte-Claire’s monastery.

Grocery shop

A grocery shop made up exclusively of local products is at your disposal in the Gatehouse ‘s shop.

It is possible to compose your own picnic and have lunch close to the chapel or in the relaxation area in the gatehouse.

On sale :

Spreads, terrines, rillettes, compotes, biscuits and moricettes to make your own sandwiches.

Fork, knife, glass and paper napkin will be given to you. Free of charge for every purchase in the grocery shop.

Last admission: 30 minutes before closing time. Closed on 25 December and 1 January

Clerics and persons belonging to a religious order : 6€

Yearly Pass (giving illimited access): 15€ 

Free admission for Children under 8 years of age, the inhabitants of the Local Coucil Community Rahin-et-Chérimont (a proof of address is requested) and holders of the Museumspass*.

The admission ticket is valid for the day.

*The Museumspass can be purchased at the shop.
