Virtual tour
During this virtual «discovery » and historical tour, fourteen themes will be dealt with: from the history of the hill of Bourlémont before 1944 (when the old chapel was bombed to ruins at the Liberation of Ronchamp) to Le Corbusier’s commission to the architectural design of the Chapel as well the the building of the monastery by Renzo Piano, etc…
The history of the site will have no secret for you thanks to digital technology!

Did you know that Le Corbusier, known worldwide for his buildings, was also a painter, a sculptor and a man of letters?
His work in Ronchamp is a perfect example of his many talents.
Walk about this iconic place with a specialist and recognize the artistic inspirations hidden there.
Finally, a musical moment in the Chapel completes the synthesis of different forms of art.

“The chapel listed on the UNESCO World heritage”
Since 2016, 17 sites of Le Corbusier have been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, as part of the series « The architectural work of Le Corbusier, an outstanding contribution to the modern movement ». The chapel of Ronchamp is included in this list, as a religious icon of the 20th century.
During your visit, you’ll discover the Outstanding Universal Value of the chapel. Part new aesthetic, part architectural feat, the chapel of Le Corbusier is an emblematic work that has sparked much debate but is now part of history.

“The hill from every angle”
Iconic of modern and contemporary architecture in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, the Hill of Notre-Dame-du-Haut leaves no one indifferent. A specialist will take you for an architecture tour around the works of Le Corbusier, Jean Prouvé and Renzo Piano. The shell (roof) of the Chapel, generally closed to the public, is the apex of this unique visit. Inspired by clever natural and technical shapes, this innovative place is the most puzzling in Le Corbusier’s building.
Visit available for groups from 2 to 8 persons. A good physical condition is required (Visiting regulations must be agreed to and signed down beforehand).
"Rebirth of a chapel VIP Tour"
Finally, Notre-Dame du Haut is getting a facelift ! For several years, cracks and infiltrations have endangered the integrity of the place. This tour offers an unprecedented chance to (re)discover the chapel and the stakes of its preservation. Following your guide, you’ll understand the restauration campaign. It’s an unique opportunity to find out the chapel’s restauration work and how it is progressing.
This tour is proposed to individuals and small groups.

This service is available only if the place is booked for private use for 10 persons or more. Personal quotation available on demand.
Booking a place where to have lunch or dinner
For a picnic or a buffet catered by us, the Hill of Notre-Dame-du-Haut rents out some rooms.
According to availabilities, your wishes and the number of your group, it will be possible for you to enjoy your meal in La Porterie by Renzo Piano, or in the Pilgrim’s Shelter, one of the two houses built by Le Corbusier below the Chapel.
Maximum capacity: from 45 to 60 seats according to the place.
Grocery shop
A grocery shop made up exclusively of local products is at your disposal in the Gatehouse ‘s shop.
It is possible to compose your own picnic and have lunch close to the chapel or in the relaxation area in the gatehouse.
On sale :
Spreads, terrines, rillettes, compotes, biscuits and moricettes to make your own sandwiches.
Fork, knife, glass and paper napkin will be given to you. Free of charge for every purchase in the grocery shop.
